Whether you’re on stage, in the audience, or presenting virtually, slide decks are everywhere. But sadly, they’re not always effective.

Too often, unnecessary clutter, poor design, and information overload undermine the success of these critical aids. Beyond being a dull set piece, a boring deck can distract from even a well-delivered presentation.

If you’ve described a recent talk as lackluster or are worried audiences might express a similar sentiment about your next effort, you’re in luck.

We’re thrilled to announce that Part III: What would Duarte do – Slide design makeovers is returning for another installment of turning your slides into engaging masterpieces during our live webinar!

Join Duarte design experts to learn best practices and pitfalls to avoid when translating your ideas into compelling slides.

The webinar will explore

  • How to best present complex ideas and visualize data.
  • Tips and tricks that set world-class presentation design apart.
  • How to cater your slide types to meet specific purposes and audiences.
  • The chance to have your slides reinvigorated in real-time by Duarte design experts!

Are you feeling overwhelmed by underperforming slides? Submit your biggest design headache for a chance to receive a free Duarte makeover!

Here’s how it works

  • Submit a slide or an entire deck that would benefit from a redesign. The more cluttered or boring, the better. Then give us some context:
    • Where will these slides be presented? Is it a keynote address, a new product launch, or an internal meeting?
    • Who is the target audience?
    • What is the goal of this slide or deck?
    • What are some of the main talking points you hope to address?
    • In your own words, what’s not working?
  • All submissions must be in presentation file forms such as .PPT, .PPTX, or .KEY.
  • Don’t include confidential information or trade secrets in your submissions!

Tune in on Thursday, December 12, at 10:00am PT / 1:00pm ET to see if your slide(s) got selected! And even if your submission is not chosen, buckle up for live design makeover magic to help inform your next presentation.

Fine print: Submission entries must be from November 22, 2024 through December 2, 2024 at 11:59pm PT. Submissions must be in the correct file types in order to be considered (.PPT, .PPTX, or .KEY). Winners will be notified on the day of the webinar on December 12, 2024 during the live event. (2) winners will be selected for a one-slide makeover during the live webinar event. An additional (1) grand prize winner will receive a full makeover (capped at 5 slides) post-webinar event.
