THE OPPORTUNITY

CEO Nick Mehta’s keynote at the annual Pulse conference is a big deal—he sets the vision not just for his company but for the customer success industry at large.

The Gainsight marketing team wanted to take his presentation to the next level and came to us with an outline of his talk, and only two weeks before he took the stage. Duarte quickly assembled a team to transform the keynote in a fun 90s style to adapt to the conference theme.

We all knew this was going to be a timing challenge, but we were inspired by Gainsight’s vision, enthusiasm, and agility, so we met them where they were.

Because the Gainsight team wanted a fun 90s feel, access and collaboration was essential. We were able to create a visual style that cheerfully referenced the past, but more importantly reflected the future.

While this timeline is challenging for such a high-stakes talk, we jumped right in and delivered in half the time we normally need.

Nick’s keynote was a great kickoff to the Pulse conference, matching Nick’s comfortable style and connecting him to the audience. The event was a huge success, bringing in more than 4,000 attendees from 1,000 different companies.
