Persuade Beyond the Stage
Before your talk:
What supporting materials can you provide to help your audience prepare and pique their interest? For example, an enticing e-mail about your message, a meeting request with a detailed agenda, or a link to a web page with a bio and reference materials.
During your talk:
How can you reinforce your message while you present? (i.e., handouts, slide-docs, secret messages under chairs, surveys for real-time feedback, giveaways, digital assets posted online, a custom hashtag for your talk)
After your talk:
How can you follow up with your audience? Consider sending a thank you note, a survey, or valuable additional resources that will keep your message fresh in your audience’s minds.
