Dreamforce 2016: Bringing Einstein to Life
Salesforce created the market for cloud-based applications. Starting from a leadership position in CRM, Salesforce extended their offerings to support customer success at every touch point. Their annual conference, Dreamforce, is the world’s largest gathering of customer trailblazers, bringing together customers who are challenging the norm in sales, marketing, service, and IT.
2016 was the 6th year that Duarte partnered with Salesforce to help create CEO, Mark Benioff’s keynote for the Dreamforce event. Although the audience tends to know a little bit about what’s going to be announced in these presentations, there’s always got to be an element of surprise.
This time, though some people knew about Einstein, Salesforce’s new AI engine that enables the delivery of highly-personalized customer experiences, people didn’t expect that Einstein himself would make a guest appearance.

We worked with the Salesforce team to innovate on every previous keynote Benioff has given, and to bring excitement and clarity to a complex technological concept. In this case—we got pretty literal and helped bring Einstein to life. Using sophisticated presentation techniques, we were able to have Einstein pop through the presentation on the big screen. We simplified the sophistication of the Einstein technology and showed how it amplifies Salesforce’s existing marketecture.
HOW THEY SHINED
As usual, Dreamforce brought in a huge crowd of nearly 17,000 people in-person, and 15 million online! They also enjoyed massive press coverage in outlets including Fortune, Forbes, Business Insider, TechCruch, Bloomberg, USA Today, and many others.
Salesforce succeeded in unveiling a new look for their Trailblazer theme, bringing back the fun, and creating a huge amount of excitement around their technology solutions.
