What are your favorite things?
The wonderful people in my life, old family photos, Nebraska storms and sunsets, design, crafty things, pretty things, kitties, coffee, wine, pajamas, and chapstick. Pretty much in that order.
Which artist has inspired you the most?
Boss Ross, because he was my first introduction to art. I would often go to my Grandma Eve’s after school, and we would watch taped episodes of his show. We’d try to imitate his amazing techniques: making rocky cliffs with a palette knife, and trees—complete with happy little friends—using a fan brush. Lovely memories with my Grandma!
What are your pet peeves?
Loud eaters, excess packaging, overly bright lighting in restaurants, and Papyrus.
